bathrooms. The facilities sit on the largest stretch of public
beach in the area. Facilities include a 400-seat seafood
restaurant, a two level beach club, a dueling piano night club, a
children's playground, beach volleyball, 3 beach accesses with
showers, 6 public pavilions, picnic tables and public restrooms.

Big Lagoon State Park is located on C.R. 292A, approximately 10 miles
southwest of Pensacola.
Full facility 698-acre coastal park with recreation area, showers,
swimming, boating, boat ramp, dock, fishing, hiking/nature trails,
beaches, five picnic areas with shelters, 75 campsites, visitor
center, observation tower, canoeing, amphitheater and a pavilion.
Guided walks, campfire programs and recreational skills programs are
offered seasonally and upon special request for groups.

Constitution
Convention Museum State Park

Constitutional Convention Museum State Park is located in Port St. Joe,
off U.S. 98.Park, visitor center, interpretive center.
A Constitution monument was erected on the grounds in 1922 and bears the
names of the convention delegates engraved in marble. A museum building
was added to the 13.5-acre site and opened to the public in 1955. A
self-guided tour will lead you through the convention hall where the
convention setting is recreated with life-size delegates. Audio-animated
mannequins portray Territorial Governors Robert Reid and William P. Duval,
Senator David Y. Levy and Attorney Thomas L. Baltzell.
A nominal fee is charged for museum
visitors six years of age and older. Special interpretive programs and
tours designed for groups can be arranged.
The museum visitor center is open from 9
a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Monday, except
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

Gardens State Park

Eden Gardens State Park is located in Point Washington, off U.S. 98 on
C.R. 395.Picnicking, visitor center, interpretive center, guided tours, state
garden.
A 1895 Greek revival estate surrounded by gardens overlooking the
Choctawhatchee Bay. Admission charge. The grounds, gardens and
picnic area are open daily from 8 a.m. until sundown. The house is
open for hourly guided tours from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Thursday through
Monday. A picnic area with adjacent parking is available at the old
mill site on Tucker Bayou.
Eden State Gardens which was once the
home of the William Henry Wesley family is now a place of tranquility
and contemplation. Yet, nearly 100 years ago, a visit to Eden State
Gardens would have vibrated with the whir of mechanical and human
energy.
Moss-draped live oaks, which predate
the Wesley Company, dominate the lawns. Camellias and azaleas offer
colorful accents to the scene from October through May; enjoy the peak
bloom around mid- March.

Reservation (North of Fort Walton Beach)
464,316 acres in Okaloosa Country, half is for public
recreation. Forest, rivers, lakes, hunting, camping and
fishing. Free permits are required for the reservation, and they
can be acquired at the Jackson Guard Station on Hwy 85, north of
Niceville. Small fees are charged for hunting and fishing for
ages 15 through 65.

Grayton Beach State Park is located on S.R. 30-A, south of U.S. 98.
Full facility park with 37 campsites,
30 cabins, showers, boat ramp, fishing, nature walks, picnicking,
swimming, paved bicycle paths, hiking/nature trails, recreation area,
canoeing, handicapped accessible boardwalk and beach wheelchair is
available. Campsites are equipped with picnic tables, grills, water
and electricity. Park rangers provide campfire programs
seasonally.
This 2,000- acre park offers rolling
sea oat-covered dunes with wide, white sand beach.
Low Season (Oct 1 - Feb
29) Campsite Fees: Campsite
and water $8.00 per night. Campsite, water and electricity $10.00 per
night.
High Season (Mar 1 - Sept 30) Campsite Fees: Campsite and
water $14.00 per night.

Cabin information:
Cabin
patrons enter through automatic security gates and meander down the
newly paved roads to the cabin area. Each 800 square foot cabin is
furnished with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a full kitchen including
microwave over, dishwasher, stove and refrigerator with an automatic
icemaker. In addition, each cabin has a ceramic tile living room area
and a sit-down counter with a beautiful gas fireplace.

-Reservations are accepted 11
months in advance.
-2 ADA Cabins are available (request at time of reservation).
-Reservations may be made by telephone at (850)231-4210) or in person
at Grayton Beach State Recreation Area from 8:00am to sunset (CST) 7
days a week.
-Minimum 2-nights stay,
with a 3-nights minimum stay on holiday weekends.
-Reservations for 1-night stay can only be made 14 days or less in
advance.
-Maximum stay is 14 days.
-A deposit of 2-nights stay, plus tax is required with 10 days of
making a reservation.
Cabin Fees:
-Spring/Summer Season (March
1-September 30) $160.00 + tax per night.
-Fall/Winter Season (October 1-February 29) call for new prices.
Cabin Furnishings:
-Each cabin is fully furnished
with a combination of queen-sized and twin beds. The living room also
has a queen-size futon.
-The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave oven,
coffee maker, can opener, cooking utensils, glassware and flatware.
-Linens are provided. Bring extra towels for beach use.
Cancellation/Refunds:
Patrons will receive a full
refund minus a $15.00 handling fee for reservations canceled at least
14 days prior to the arrival date. If notice of cancellation is
received less that 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the
patron will be charged 2-nights rental; unless the cabin can be
re-rented in which case the full refund minus the handling fee will be
paid.

on U.S.98.
Full facility 208-acre park with

over 6,000 feet of scenic Gulf front shoreline. Thirty
campsites, with electric and water hookups, are available.

John Gorrie Museum State Park

John Gorrie Museum State Park is located on Sixth Street, one block
off U.S. 319-98 in Apalachicola, off U.S. 98
Visitor center, interpretive center, museum.
The visitor center is open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday,
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The center is closed on
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day.
A replica of Gorrie's
ice-machine, built from the specifications of his 1851 patent, is on
display in the museum.
The Apalachicola River's rich
floodplains attracted many settlers during the 1800s and played an
important role in the development of the town of Apalachicola.

playgrounds, restrooms, covered pavilion, fishing pier and boat ramp.
Bay side of Okaloosa Island off Santa Rosa Boulevard. Public

Perdido Key State Park is located 15 miles southwest of Pensacola, off
S.R. 292.
Perdido Key State Recreation Area is a 247-acre barrier island near
Pensacola on the Gulf of Mexico. The wide, white, sandy beaches and
the rolling sand dunes covered with sea oats make this a pristine
oasis along the rapidly developing panhandle.

This forest is located in the panhandle on a strip of land between the

Niceville on S.R. 20.
Full facility 375-acre recreation area
with primitive camping, swimming, boating, boat ramp, canoeing,
fishing, hiking/nature trails, picnicking and campfire circle.
Forty-Two campsites, with electric and water hookups, are
available. Campsites and picnic shelters overlook scenic Rocky
Bayou, an arm of Choctawhatchee Bay. Ranger-guided walks and
campfire programs are offered seasonally.

vaccination papers $2.00 per night.
Florida state parks are open from 8
a.m. until sundown 365 days a year.
- Scenic
Highway 30-A Bike Path
Safely navigate South Walton's most picturesque roadway on eight-feet
wide, off-road bike paths that wind along pristine fresh water lakes,
quiet communities, undeveloped woodlands and beach areas. Paths are
constructed from Blue Mountain Beach to Inlet Beach, except where
pedestrian sidewalks exist. Nine miles are off-road, and a majority of
the rest of the 18-mile stretch is connected to the highway.

Full facility 1,260-acre park with 176 campsites, two campground
loops, primitive camping, swimming, canoeing, snorkeling, diving,
picnicking, showers, concession stand, group/youth camping, fishing,
boat launch, beaches, two fishing piers, guided tours, recreation
area, hiking/nature trails, rock jetties, five large bath houses,
laundry facilities and two dump stations.
Campsites are equipped with
electricity, water, picnic tables and grills or fire rings. The sites
will accommodate camping units ranging in size from tents to rigs up
to 40' in length.
One group campsite is available for
organized groups such as, church groups, scouts, and civic clubs.
Tents only, no electric available. The site has a picnic table and
fire ring it accommodates up to 20 persons. Adults $3 per night
Children under 18 are $2 per night.

Full facility 1,650-acre wilderness
preserve with 119 campsites, 30 cabins, primitive camping, group/youth
camping, boat tour, showers, boating, boat ramp, saltwater fishing,
wilderness hiking, nature trails, picnicking, swimming, canoeing,
canoe rentals, guided walks and campfire programs are offered
seasonally.
There are 119 campsites with water, picnic tables and grills.
Electricity is available on 97 of the sites. Campsites and cabins can
be reserved by phone or in person. there is also a special tent
camping area for organized, non-profit youth groups.
Eight remote furnished two story
elevated cabins with loft, two queen-sized beds, sleeper sofa, daybed,
equipped kitchen, bathroom, living area, linens and towels located on
the bay side of the park. For extended visits, please bring extra
towels. The cabins sleep five persons comfortably, seven
maximum. Pets are not allowed in the cabins at any time,
registered guide/service animals are permitted wherever their owners
are allowed. Check-in time is no earlier than 4:00 p.m. and
check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Eastern. Due to our limited staff,
guests are asked to leave these housekeeping cabins in the same
condition in which they were found upon arrival.
Reservations accepted up to eleven (11) months in advance.
The use of recreational vehicles, tents, etc., in the cabin area for
camping purpose is prohibited. Cabin renters and their guests
may anchor or moor boats with motors only in Eagle Harbor or the
marina. No motorized vessels are to be operated on the bay near
the cabins. Vessels will maintain a no wake speed within 300
feet of land and will maintain 100 feet between themselves and divers
down flags. Vehicles over 2 will have to park in the day use
areas.
Busy season (March 1 -
September 15): $70.00 per night plus tax (minimum of five
<5> nights). Two night reservations may be made less than
a month in advance. One night stays may be reserved 14 days or
less in advance (guests must arrive by 5 p.m. Eastern).
Off season (September
16 - February 28):
$55.00 per night plus tax (minimum of two
<2> nights). One night stays are taken 14 days or less in
advance (guests must arrive by 5 p.m. Eastern).
FEES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
WITHOUT NOTICE. THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $5.00 PER
PERSON PER NIGHT FOR ANYONE OVER FOUR (4), EXCEPT DEPENDENT CHILDREN

St. Joseph Peninsula State Park has
miles of white sand beaches, striking dune formations, a
heavily-forested interior and a favorable climate for year-round
outdoor recreation characterize this peninsular state park. The
2,516-acre park is bounded on three sides by the waters of St. Joe Bay
and the Gulf of Mexico.
Full facility 1,600 Gulf front pine forests reserve with nature trails,
sand dunes, two freshwater coastal dune lakes, swimming, fishing,
picnicking and hiking.

River State Park

Canoe Rental & Sales
Canoe, kayak or tube the clear waters of the
Blackwater River (no white water). Enjoy one of our many day
trips (2 to 7 hour long) or be real adventurous and spend the
night on our camping/canoe trip! We transport you
upstream to the launch point where your fun-filled day begins. The
sight of snow white sand bars contrasting with clear, shallow waters
outlined by magnolia, river cedars and a variety of wildflowers is
something everyone should see. 1 hour and 22 minuets from Destin, 38
minuets from Pensacola and 2 hours and 41 minuets from Panama City
Beach. Reservations suggested.

Falling Waters State Park

acceptedFalling Waters State Park is located three miles south of Chipley, off
S.R. 77A.
Full facility park with camping, recreation area, group/youth camping,
hiking/nature trails, picnicking and swimming. Twenty-four campsites,
with electric and water hookups, are available. Falling Waters State
Park derives its name from one of Florida's most notable geological
features: a 67-foot waterfall.
Low Season (Nov 1 - Feb 29) Campsite Fees: Campsite and water
$8.00 per night. Campsite, water and electricity $10.00 per
night. Pets with tags and vaccination papers $2.00 per night. Weekly
and monthly discounts are available only during low season.
High Season (Mar 1 - Oct 31)

Florida Caverns State Park is located 3 Miles North of Marianna, Off of
U.S. 90 on S.R. 166. From I-10 Take Marianna Exit 20 or 21 North and
Follow signs to the park.
Full facility park with camping,
group/youth camping, boat tour, canoeing, swimming, fishing, boat ramp,
picnicking, hiking/nature trails, visitor center, interpretive center,
guided tours, RV hookups, pull through dump station, camping for tents and
rigs up to 40' in length with electric, water, a picnic table and a ground
grill or fire ring at each site. Full restroom facilities are provided
with hot water and showers.
During the High Season (March
1 - September 30): $12.00 per night per camp site plus tax. Electric
is $2.00 per night. Extra vehicles (over 1) are $3.00 each.
Extra persons (over 4) are $2.00 each. Pets with tags and vaccination
papers $2.00 per night.
During the Off Season (October 1 - February
28): $8.00 per night per camp site plus tax. (All other fees are the
same as above).
YOUTH CAMPING-A wide opened
youth camping area will accommodate up to 32 persons. A small restroom
facility and primitive showers are also located within the youth camping
area. 2 large fire circles are available to provide a unique group
experience. Fees for youth camping are as follows: Adults-$3.00 per night,
Children (under 18 years of age)-$2.00 per night. Youth groups must be
properly chaperoned with at least 1 adult, 21 years of age or older, for
each ten juveniles or fraction thereof. Call for reservation up to 11
months in advance.
Ponce de Leon Springs State Park Area is located one half mile south
of U.S. 90 on C.R,181-A.
The main spring found in the park is actually the coming together of
two flows from a limestone cavity. These two flows produce more than
14 million gallons of crystal-clear water daily.
Activities: fishing, swimming, picnicking and nature hikes. Open from
8 a.m. until sundown 365 days a year.
Approximately 20 acres have been enhanced with amenities, such as
picnic tables and nature trails, for visitors. Rangers conduct
seasonal guided walks: but self-guided tours can be taken at leisure.

Rivers State Park

Three Rivers State Park is located on S.
R. 271, two miles north of Sneads.
Full facility 682 -acre
recreation area park with two miles of shoreline on Lake Seminole at
the Florida-Georgia border, camping, boat ramp, fishing, fishing pier,
canoeing, picnicking, canoe rentals, dump station, nature trails,
group and youth camping.
Camping is
permitted in the Lakeside Camping Area where we have thirty-one
beautifully shaded and semi-private campsites available.
Twenty-two of these sites have water and electric. Both Florida
and Georgia are in view from our campsites. We also offer
facilities for group camping in our Highlands Youth Camping Area.
Canoe rentals are also
available for $8.00 per day.

Torreya
State Park

Torreya State Park is located off S.R.
12. on C.R. 1641, 13 miles north of Bristol.
Full facility park with two primitive campsites, yurts, group/youth
camping, primitive camping, fire ring, hiking/nature trails, picnic
table with covered shelter, hot showers, clean restrooms, visitor
center, interpretive center and guided tours. Supplies available at
the Old Barracks Building include soft drink machine, ice, firewood,
butane lighters, propane, and insect repellent. Things to bring are
bedding and towels, flashlight, food (nearest shopping is 15 miles)
and cooking/eating utensils.
Thirty-five campsites, with electric
and water hookups, are available.
Year Round Campsite Fees: Campsite and water $8.00 per night.
Campsite, water and electricity $10.00 per night.
Torreya's yurt is a 10-foot round,
domed tent with flooring, electricity, furnished, lockable wooden
door, and three large windows with screens and flaps that open. A Yurt
sleeps 5. Features include air conditioning/heating, skylight, futon
and bunk twin bed on top, table and chairs, leisure deck.
Yurt Reservation: Rental fee is $30 per night to rent the Yurt.
